9 Featured CSAs from Around the Country

Every couple of weeks we’ll feature various CSAs from across the country so you can see what’s growing!

June marked the start of many CSAs across the country. Thousands of them actually. The US Department of Agriculture reported over 12,000 CSA farms nation-wide in 2012.

If you’re not familiar with subscription-based Community Supported Agriculture, check out this great explanation from LocalHarvest.org, which has almost 3,000 CSA farms in its directory.

It’s interesting to see the many different CSA models and especially the diversity of what is being offered from farms across the country.
