Our favorite Instagram Feeds of August
Why we love @NedLuddPDX: Chef Jason French has the best intentions with his NE Portland restaurant
and has fully embraced the local food scene. He even just expanded to include a community gathering space
for meetings, classes & events called Elder Hall. Jason also has a fun sense of humor to go along with it
all (see his #glamping photo from July 30).
Why we love @cdeihl: Craig is being super creative with his whole animal butchery program and always has something new to share.
Soon he’ll have a brick & mortar spot in Charleston, SC for the whole community to enjoy.
Why we love @avagenes: The Ava Gene’s Instagram feed is full of food: fresh, Oregon-grown fruit and vegetables.
Chef Josh McFadden (@jj__mc) spent a couple of seasons on Four Season Farm in Maine and brings a whole different appreciation for vegetables and local farmers to the plate.
Why we love @kjacovino: Kyle is a hardworking young chef that’s recently relocated from Athens to Savannah
to open a new spot with Chef Hugh Acheson’s restaurant group. Some of the letUMeat crew met Kyle in a farm field
at an event in Athens last summer. It was there that we first heard about his new restaurant venture
and now we’re excited to see it come to life and where he’s taking it.
